This book is a collaboration between the “Betweens Passport Initiative (BPI)” project, a collaboration between the General Incorporated Association Kuriya, Tokyo Metropolitan Government, and the Arts Council Tokyo, and Gottingham. Inspired by the “unfinished movie” by young people from Nepal, the book features two works by Gottingham, documents that convey the background of the work, and essays related to the work and BPI. Gottingham’s photographic work features seven subjects, including six actor candidates for the unfinished movie and the director, shot in a bird’s-eye view while lying down on a background paper laid on the floor. Another work composed by Gottingham based on interviews with the same seven people by a writer is sandwiched between the color pages of the photographic work, and consists of text floating on black paper, handwritten signs of the first names of the actors themselves and the characters, and quotations. Quotations are symbolically used in the graphics of the title page. The design is by Toshimasa Kimura, Genki Abe, and Gottingham.

一般社団法人kuriya、東京都、アーツカウンシル東京の三者が協働するプロジェクト「Betweens Passport Initiative(BPI)」とGottinghamのコラボレーションによる書籍。ネパールからの若者による“未完の映画”のあり様に着想を得て生まれたGottinghamの2作品のほか、作品の背景を伝える資料、作品とBPIにまつわる論考等を掲載。
Gottinghamの写真作品は、未完の映画の俳優候補6名に監督をあわせた計7名を被写体として、床に敷いた背景紙の上に寝転んだ状態を真俯瞰で撮影した。ライターによる同7名のインタビューをもとにGottinghamが構成したテキストワークからなるもう一方の作品は、写真作品のカラーページの間に挟まっており、黒地の紙に漂うように配置されたテキスト、俳優本人と登場人物のファーストネームを手書きしたサイン、クォーテーションで構成されている。扉ページのグラフィックにも象徴的にクォーテーションが使用されている。デザインは木村稔将、阿部原己+Gottingham。
